Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of seebenefitsnow.com and any related content, tools, features, and services we provide (together, the "Site"). The Site is operated by See Benefits Now ("See Benefits Now," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not permitted to use the Site and should discontinue use immediately.

You acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms, and that they have the same force and effect as a signed agreement.

Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Site. By using the Site you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using the Site under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.

The Site is directed to users located in the United States. We make no representation that the content is appropriate or available for use in other locations.

What we are — and are not

See Benefits Now is an independent consumer information and discovery platform. We publish plain-language educational content, organize information about government assistance programs and other resources, and offer tools that let you search, save, and keep track of opportunities that interest you.

Program rules, funding levels, eligibility criteria, deadlines, and benefit amounts change frequently and vary by state and locality. We make reasonable efforts to keep our content current, but we do not warrant that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or up to date. Always verify details with the official program source before you act.

Your account

Some features may require you to register for an account. If you create one, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at info@seebenefitsnow.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Accounts are personal to you. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account, and do not create an account on behalf of anyone else without authorization. Membership, where offered, is free, and we may suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, with or without notice, as described in Termination.

Saved items, tracking & reminders

The Site may let you save benefits, programs, coupons, and offers; assign a status to items you are pursuing; add your own notes; and set reminders for deadlines and renewal dates. These tools exist to help you stay organized.

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time, and we do not guarantee that saved items or notes will be retained indefinitely. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Third-party offers & advertising

The Site displays two very different kinds of listings, and we label them so you can tell them apart:

• Government and nonprofit programs — assistance administered by public agencies or nonprofit organizations. We are not compensated by these programs, and our description of them is not influenced by any commercial relationship.
• Commercial offers — discounts, coupons, promotional offers, sponsored placements, and affiliate links from private companies.

Any transaction you enter into with a third party — including any purchase, application, coupon redemption, or service agreement — is solely between you and that third party. We are not a party to it. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third party's products, services, offers, representations, pricing, availability, or conduct. Read the third party's terms and privacy policy before you proceed. Offers may expire, change, or be withdrawn at any time and may be subject to conditions we do not control.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose, or in violation of these Terms.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, including any government agency.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form or tool.
• Copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, harvest, frame, mirror, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from the Site or its content without our prior written permission.
• Use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or automated means to access the Site or collect data from it, except for standard search-engine indexing.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other users' accounts, or any server, system, or network connected to the Site.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation, security, or availability.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site.
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.
• Use the Site to send unsolicited communications, or to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another person.
• Collect or store personal information about other users without their consent.

We may investigate any suspected violation and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, suspending or terminating access, and reporting the matter to law enforcement.

Intellectual property

The Site and all of its content — including text, guides, articles, graphics, logos, icons, images, illustrations, page layouts, design elements, compilations, and software — are owned by See Benefits Now or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. "See Benefits Now," our logo, and our other marks are our trademarks and may not be used without our prior written permission.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Site and to print or download individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. This license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms.

References to third-party names, marks, programs, and agencies on the Site are for identification and informational purposes only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Your submissions & feedback

If you send us content — including comments, questions, suggestions, reviews, testimonials, ideas, or other materials ("Submissions") — you grant See Benefits Now a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display those Submissions in connection with operating and promoting the Site, without compensation or attribution to you.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your Submissions, that they are accurate and not misleading, and that they do not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law. We are not obligated to publish, keep, or maintain the confidentiality of any Submission, and we may remove any Submission at any time for any reason.

Do not include sensitive personal information — such as Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, or medical records — in any Submission.

Electronic communications

When you use the Site or send us messages, you are communicating with us electronically, and you consent to receive communications from us electronically. Agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.

If you provide your email address or mobile number and opt in, we may send newsletters, alerts, reminders, and promotional messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, and you can stop text messages by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you, including how to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where applicable. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described there.

Third-party links

The Site contains links to websites operated by third parties, including official government portals, nonprofit organizations, advertisers, and offer providers. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not control those sites, we do not review or endorse their content, and we are not responsible for their accuracy, legality, security, or privacy practices. Accessing a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, TOOLS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEE BENEFITS NOW DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components; or that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or applicable to your situation. We make no warranty regarding any program, offer, product, or service described on the Site, or any outcome you may obtain from using the Site — including whether you will qualify for, receive, or retain any benefit, discount, or payment.

You use the Site entirely at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEE BENEFITS NOW AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BENEFITS, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from reliance on any content; any error, omission, or outdated information; any missed deadline or failed reminder; any denial of or delay in receiving a benefit; any dealings with a third party or offer provider; any interruption or unavailability of the Site; and any unauthorized access to your data.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless See Benefits Now and its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, your Submissions, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your violation of any third party's rights. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.

Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the address in Contact information including:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, such as the URL.
3. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any account, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason — including suspected violation of these Terms — with or without notice and without liability to you. You may stop using the Site at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual property, Your submissions & feedback, Disclaimer of warranties, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, and Governing law & disputes.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable United States federal law.

Informal resolution first

Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at info@seebenefitsnow.com with a description of the dispute and to attempt in good faith to resolve it informally for at least 30 days. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

Binding arbitration & class-action waiver

If a dispute is not resolved informally, you and See Benefits Now agree that it will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court or seek injunctive relief for infringement or misuse of intellectual property. The arbitration will take place in or near Cedar Rapids, Iowa, or, at your election, by telephone, video, or written submission.

You and See Benefits Now each waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court and all other claims remain in arbitration.

Any claim must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by law. If arbitration is held unenforceable, you and See Benefits Now consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Linn County, Iowa.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page and changing the "Last updated" date. Changes take effect when posted unless we state otherwise. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

We may also change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site — including any feature, tool, or content — at any time, without notice and without liability.

General provisions

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Mobile & SMS Terms, are the entire agreement between you and See Benefits Now regarding the Site and supersede all prior understandings.
• Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create rights for anyone other than you and See Benefits Now.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
• Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.
